Recently an error message has started plaguing some Microsoft Access databases.
Specifically, databases set up with a front-end and back-end where the data tables are housed in a separate database to the front-end forms and logic.
The error “Cannot open any more databases” will randomly appear and eventually causing the user to be locked out of the database altogether.
The cause of this is still under investigation but the good news is that we know the solution!
